January Adult Education

Our Sunday morning adult education class is continuing the study of the New Testament using a DVD course ob-tained from “The Great Courses”. The 24 lectures of this DVD course approach the New Testament from a historical perspective and will address such significant questions as who wrote these books, under what circumstances, and for what audience, as well as ques-tions concerning their historical accuracy. The teacher for the course is Bart Ehrman, professor of Religious Studies at The University of North Carolina.

January 15 – Lecture 16: Pauline Ethics
January 22 – Lecture 17: Paul’s Letter to the Romans
January 29 – Lecture 18: Paul, Jesus, and James
